Just Another Manic.. Thursday?
It was a beautiful morning on my way to work today. Dawn awoke as I approached the bus stop and cast its radiant glow across the bay.Not a bad way to start a working day...
Those two photos kind of capture the glory. One is quite obvious, and really needs no description. The other one is looking back across the Golden Gate Bridge with the toll plaza in the foreground.
The ride home was graced by the presence of two co-workers, Nikki and Mike. Mike, once again, was the driver and Nikki rode shotgun. I felt quite safe and was able to relax and take some of these fantastic shots from the back seat where the steel sliding plate between the front of the vehicle and where I was sitting gave me some much needed privacy.I am told that some people refer to this private section of the vehicle as the "trunk". So interesting, "trunk", it would seem, has many different definitions.
Along the way home, after complaining bitterly about the route chosen by our intrepid driver, Nikki pointed out that we were passing her favorite building in San Francisco.I then commented that perhaps she should concentrate on the security of the ride and let the driver determine the best route, since she would not have seen her favorite building if we had taken her way.. I don't think the "trunk" allows for great communication amongst other travelers.
I did get this great shot of San Francisco's "red light" district. Boy, there sure are a lot of red lights...There actually are quite a few strip clubs in this area... near Broadway & Columbus. Many people refer to them as "Gentlemen Clubs". I wonder how many gentlemen really frequent them.. in comparison to the other jerks like me that go there that is.
And this last shot? Well... why not?G'Night
