Losing Sight of What is Real

After many days of driving into work for various reasons, I am finally commuting again. Feels nice... feels good... feels right...

You know, perhaps I should blame my lack of commuting on the reason I am way behind in the PHP course I am taking. I have to drop by this Saturday if I want to do so without penalty to my current 4.0 GPA at Palomar College.

I believe that by college, people expect one to have learned not to stand in the middle of a busy street during rush hour. But not I...

I like the way the world seems a bit skewed when standing in the middle of Howard Street in San Francisco somewhere between 7:30 & 8:00 am... or between 2nd and 3rd streets - really depends on one's interest - time or space.

Oh yes, they also teach one not to be ugly. To abhor ugliness... to strike it down in a violent act worthy of the 6:00 o'clock news.

Time rears its ugly head again. And must therefore be eradicated. A timeless skill.

Tan's is where I sometimes throw money towards the dream that I shall never have to wage slave again for the survival and growth of our family in the manner in which we so desire.

And I rest easy with the knowledge that I have somewhere in my photos in my mind, a wreck of an image of a dark garage with new cars in which I once again begin my ride home courtesy of a good friend.
